I am pleased to announce the appointment of a search/advisory committee charged with identifying candidates for Vice Chancellor, Legal Affairs and Associate General Counsel, to replace Joseph Mandel, who retired on June 28.
As this position reports jointly to the UCLA Chancellor and the UC General Counsel and Vice President for Legal Affairs, Charles F. Robinson and I are co-chairing the committee, with Chancellor-designate Gene Block replacing me as co-chair when he assumes office on August 1.
