I am pleased to announce the appointment of a search committee charged with identifying candidates for the position of Vice Chancellor, External Affairs. As you know, Michael Eicher, who oversaw the decade-long $3 billion fundraising initiative, Campaign UCLA, stepped down in July 2006, at which time Rhea Turteltaub assumed the position of Interim Vice Chancellor.
Judy D. Olian, Dean of the UCLA Anderson School of Management, has graciously agreed to chair the search committee. Other committee members are:

To enhance the search efforts, we have commissioned the services of an executive search firm, Storbeck/Pimentel, represented by Alberto Pimentel.
